FPS XXVII ITB 2027 Registration Terms & Conditions
Oct 24, 2026
1. About these terms
By submitting a registration, you agree to these terms, the FPS XXVII ITB 2027 Privacy Policy and the competition rules for the competition and category you enter.
FPS XXVII ITB (Festival Paduan Suara XXVII ITB) 2027 is organized by Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Institut Teknologi Bandung (PSM-ITB). The FPS XXVII ITB 2027 organizing committee (“we”, “us”) runs the competitions and this website.
These terms cover registration for the Choir, Solo Vocal, Conducting, and Composition & Arrangement competitions on fpsitb.com and competition.fpsitb.com. You accept them by ticking the agreement box in the review step before payment. If these terms and the competition rules differ, the competition rules apply.
2. Your account and who may register
You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for everything submitted from it. Keep access to that account; we contact you through its email address.
- Participants under 18. Data about a child must be submitted with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should register for you or approve your registration.
- Choirs. If you register a choir, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it and that you have permission from each member, or from their parent or guardian if they are under 18, to share their data with us.
- Conducting. You confirm that the choir members who appear in your audition videos have agreed to share them with us.
3. Your registration data
Everything you submit must be true, complete and your own. False or misleading data, including a wrong date of birth, can lead to disqualification.
- Identity documents (KTP, birth certificate or passport) are used only to verify date of birth. You may blur or cover everything except your full name and date of birth.
- Files must match the format and size limits shown on each upload field.
- Video links must be on YouTube or Google Drive (Conducting: YouTube only) and stay accessible to the committee until the results are announced.
- Editing after submission. Photos, bios, and contact details can be edited from your registration or choir page. Other data can only be changed when the committee asks for it in a revision request. The competition choice, category, audition and Composition & Arrangement works can never be changed.
- Revision requests appear on your registration page with what to fix and a due date. You can send each revision once, before its due date; after that, those fields are locked again. A missed due date can only be reopened by the committee.
- Data-change deadline. All edits and revisions end on 13 June 2027 for Choir, Solo Vocal and Conducting, and on 31 January 2027 for Composition & Arrangement.
- Shared data. A change to a choir or composer profile applies to every registration that uses it.
- Check your registration page. The website does not send automated emails. Revision requests, payment issues and results appear on your registration page; we may also contact you by email or WhatsApp if necessary.
4. Competition limits
The website enforces some limits from the competition rules; the rest are your responsibility.
Choir
- A choir may enter at most 1 age-based category (C1, C2, M1, M2, M3 or E) and at most 4 non-age categories (K, R, P, F).
- Ages are counted so each limit holds for the whole festival: maximum ages on the last festival day (8 August 2027) and minimum ages on the first (2 August 2027). Solo Vocal follows the same rule.
- Each conductor may lead only 1 choir per category, and a choir may have at most 2 conductors. Each singer may sing for only 1 choir per category.
Composition & Arrangement
- You may submit at most 2 works per category, counted across all your registrations.
- Your name must not appear in the score (PDF) or the audio sample (MP3).
- A1 and A2 works must be original compositions, not arrangements of existing melodies. A3 works must arrange one Indonesian folk song, with its origin stated; medleys are not allowed.
- Works must not be published or performed before FPS XXVII ITB ends in August 2027.
- Works are final once submitted.
5. Fees and payment
Your registration is complete only after you pay the fee shown at checkout and upload proof of payment. All fees follow the FPS XXVII ITB guidebook. If the amount at checkout differs from the guidebook, contact us before paying.
- Currency. Pay by bank transfer in Indonesian rupiah (IDR) or by PayPal in US dollars (USD), at the fixed price for that currency in the guidebook. The ITB student discount (Solo Vocal) applies to bank transfer only.
- Batch prices. Choir fees depend on the registration batch. The batch is decided by the date your payment was sent, as checked by the committee, not by the date you filled in the form.
- Composition & Arrangement is charged per work: 2 works cost twice the fee for 1 work.
- Bank transfer. Transfer to the committee’s designated account, held in the name of a committee representative, and include your name or your choir’s name in the transfer reference.
- PayPal. Send the USD amount shown at checkout to the committee’s PayPal email, and write your name or your choir’s name in the note.
- Proof. Upload a clear receipt (JPG, PNG or PDF). The committee checks every payment by hand; if a proof is rejected, we will ask for a new one in a revision request, and you can replace it only before that request’s due date.
- Wrong amount. If you paid less than the correct amount, including when an ITB student discount claim is rejected, we will issue an additional bill for the difference. If you paid more, we will refund the difference.
- We never ask for card numbers or account passwords.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You cannot cancel a registration after submitting it, and fees are not refunded except in the cases below.
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Choir, Solo Vocal or Conducting entry does not pass the audition | Registration fee minus the selection fee (Rp500,000 if paid by bank transfer, or USD 25 if paid by PayPal) |
| Overpayment | The amount paid above the correct fee |
| You withdraw after passing the audition | No refund |
| Disqualification for breaking the rules (any competition) | No refund |
Composition & Arrangement registrations cannot be withdrawn. Refunds are handled outside this website: the committee will contact you and ask for the bank account to return the money to.
7. Selection, judging and disqualification
The decisions of the Artistic Board and the jury are final.
- Auditions (Choir, Solo Vocal, Conducting) can be submitted during registration or later from your registration page, until the audition deadline: 21 March 2027, unless the committee extends it. An audition is final once submitted. Registrations which audition data has not been submitted by the deadline will be noted as withdrawn from the competition and will not receive a refund.
- The Artistic Board reviews audition recordings to decide who qualifies. Audition results are shown on your registration page on 4 April 2027.
- Composition & Arrangement entries are given to the jury without the composer’s name. Winners are announced on 28 February 2027.
- We may disqualify a registration that breaks these terms or the competition rules, or that contains false data. We will tell you the reason on your registration page.
8. Your materials and copyright
You keep the copyright in everything you submit; you give us permission to use it only to run and promote the festival.
- Publication. We may publish participant names, choir names, photos, short biographies and results in the festival programme, on our website and on our social media. We never publish identity documents, addresses, phone numbers or payment details.
- Assessment. Audition recordings, scores and audio samples are shared only with the committee, the Artistic Board and the jury, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Premiere. The winning Composition & Arrangement works will be premiered by PSM-ITB. Copyright stays with the composer or arranger.
- Rights to repertoire. You confirm that you have the right to submit any score or recording you upload.
9. Other terms
- Using the website. Do not upload harmful files, impersonate anyone, access other people’s registrations or try to disrupt the site. We may suspend accounts that do.
- Changes to the festival. We may change schedules, deadlines or venues when needed and will tell registered participants on the website, by email or by WhatsApp.
- Changes to these terms. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Registrations already submitted stay under the version you agreed to, unless the law requires otherwise.
- Liability. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by your bank, PayPal, your internet connection or files uploaded incorrectly. Nothing here limits your rights under Indonesian law.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
